Bamboo Sax...

hmmm.. a suspicious amount of reverb in that forest - buy one if you want, but prepare to be disappointed, it may not be any better than a Xaphoon

these things are all rather disappointing. If you really must have something small to take with you to all places, learn to play clarinet (Eb is even smaller than Bb) or recorder (nothing wrong with that!) but these quasi chalumeaus are not worth the money they cost. If you really cannot resist and you really want a cheap chalumeau get yourself Jupiter saxonett.

I've decided against it. The tenor's winning hands down at the moment. Maybe a bari when the funds are there, but I'm leaning more towards a nice new R&C R1 Jazz tenor.... Trouble is the money. As always. Now I've bought my wife a guitar, there's the small matter of a cello for my daughter, a probable electric bass guitar (&amp) for my youngest And a set of bagpipes for my oldest. Too many real musicians in the family for a wannabe like me to have the money I need.
