Ballads are a real context for building and developing sound control. Simply playing the right notes is not enough, you need expression, dynamics, precision in intonation to try to "sing with the instrument". Obviously these characteristics are always needed, but never like in ballads are they in the foreground. In this episode I played "Body and soul", one of the most famous ballads of all time.
