"This is a fifteen minute documentary by D.A. Pennebaker on jazz singer and vocalese originator Dave Lambert. In 1964 he filmed this audition of Lambert’s then newly formed quartet Lambert & Co., only months before the latter died in a tragic car accident. This audition is the last filmed footage of Lambert and the only recording of the quartet’s music."
