Yamaha saprano Yss875ex VS selmer III

Hi Guys

Pick your guys' brain again.

I am buying a saprano saxophone. I love yamaha and selmer. I am getting yss875ex or selmer series III. Can't try any of them out since I am living in NZ.

Which one would you guys choose?

By the way which one looks better(color and engrave wise)?

Not too impressed with current Selmers so I'd vote the Yamaha

Colour/engraving are personal choices -

I prefer silver plated

I am a Yamaha fan (have Yamaha alto and tenor) - if I wanted a good soprano as opposed to my fun cheapie Artemis, I'd have a very positive attitude to a Yamaha.

In general, what I hear about Yamaha is positive, but there seem to be odd niggles from some quarters about Selmer.

I invested in a Hanson SS8 half curved soprano a couple of weeks ago. Silver plated with gold keys. The intonation is really good (in spite of my playing). I'll post some pictures at the weekend if I can figure out how to do it.

The Yamaha and Selmer will cost more than twice the price of this and I cant believe that they will sound twice as good.
