We don't seem to get much of the bad and the ugly, so here's this guy. If he's one of you (us), I sincerely apologize for . . . well . . . uh . . . for promoting your poor judgment, I guess.

Being from the "it's all good" school, I wouldn't be bagging on the guy, either, were it not for the shirtless approach and the interesting juxtiposition of his slick, finished videos with nothing inside them.

Gidday Guys, I spotted that guy the other night. what about this guy, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYcS-mUaA8c
He's Italian and really got his act together I rekon. He has quite few others video's on youtube worth looking at. I have recently got a looper and hope to do something similar although I'm having problems getting my brand new sure 57SM to make any sounds!

Cheers

Hi jimu, not had a chance to look at Youtube yet as I need to be on a PC rather than this pda. By 'looper' I assume you mean some kind of delay unit? I have a Boss delay that I use on guitar, hours and hours of fun with the delay & reverb combo's, until I discovered the saxophone that is 😉

What looper do you have?

Cheers, Bo

The Alto and Soprano guy was really good.

I really want a loop machine now, I've got a multi-effect unit but it doesn't have a loop function. It's still great to play around with delay, echo and phaser though!

Gidday Bobby.

Re asking what Looper do I have!
It's a digitech Jamman I haven't really got it working yet, but am still excited by it's possibilitys (creatively) I originally say a visiting Aussie performer/muso use and Akai headrush Mal Web, who can do absolutely amazing things with both a guitar, trumpet and lots of other instruments, and his voice doing sort of rap type close mic work of setting up rythms (in effect being his own drum machine) and then building over the loops, all very much fun and so easy for him to do (solo) He built up a sound environment of the Australian bush with bird songs, even adding a mosquito, here is a link to his site.

Its not Jazz but certainly inspirational in creativity. Enjoy

I won't comment on his playing, we all have to start somewhere, but by God put a shirt on Luciano Pavarotti....No one wants to see your "man boobs" while enduring a painful rendition of MY LOVE on the tenor sax! :x

Oops, guess I commented on his playing after all. 😛
