After an interruption of 11 years, I took up my saxophone again last month and feel I progressed more during my 3 weeks summer holidays than I did when I had weekly lessons (I admit, without daily practice ) these many years ago.

I miss the cigalles! I miss the figs I picked in the tree near the pool, avoiding the busy hornets around. I miss the fleshy and tasty tomatoes.

I miss my home region now that I'm back near the big city of Paris.
