I really like the looks of these thin metal mouthpieces somehow I feel they must have a very edgy sound (no actual knowledge behind it though, just a feeling)
I found these cheap ones on ebay and amazon and was wondering if any of you guys tried one of these

anybody?

Because I am fair minded and attracted by shiney shiney, I've tried alto and tenor. They are very very pretty and very very useless. I had a delacore soprano that helped me on my way but wasn't a keeper. The sharkbites are less bad but.....

Don't waste your money.

I have been playing a ppt alto piece that I am looking after until after the Mcr meet and I am tempted it's just that I don't play alto much and not sure I can justify another mouthpiece.

Would recommend saving for one though if you want a new one. :)

I have the first one on the list, in a 7, and it is actually quite good (for me).
In a rating experiment, I gave it 7.6 / 10 across all 5 of my tenors with a 2.5 reed (also cheap Chinese Rui Yin)

Although it is now getting quite tarnished after just over a year.
