Isn't it supposed to be a mpc silencer? The idea being you can practice mouthpiece exercises to your heart's content without annoying everyone else.

Reduces the racket to a mere whisper, apparently.

Seems like a good idea to me - pity they can't make one that would go into the neck of the sax :laugh:

i really don't see the point..i don't think i've ever blown m MP without sax in 20 years...
one in the neck of the sax? dosn't david sandbourn use one of them all the time?

Trying to play scales with just the mouthpiece has become a backstage game for the Fat45 horns... and it really annoys the rest of the band!
