Dave Koz - Lucky Man

Have a few Dave Koz albums, but I just got "Lucky Man" off 've iTunes, anyone got a "hard" copy with the "Book" ? was wondering if Dave is, as usual, doubling on all saxes or if he's got a guest on there. On a coupl'a tracks I'm not too sure.

I wish iTunes would get it together and have downloads for all album covers as PDFs - I think there are some but not many. I suppose it's down to the lables though, not Steve Jobbs fault entirely.

Yup, it is debatable Pete, the German internet street price for the hard copy is 18 Uhu's more - plus postage . . . than the iTune price which is why I chose to download, however it would be nice to have some booklet notes with credits and such, but are they worth the extra bucks ? the discrepancy in this case is quite considerable.

Well, I'll help you out there spike, you were of course right, Dave is doubling on most tracks as usual, however to confirm your doubts - on Track 7 - Saxman - he has the illustrious sharp shooting company of non other than - Maceo Parker on alto, Clarence Clemmons on tenor, and Doc Kupka on baritone, - guess you need connections to get a sax section like that.

". . . This song was written in celebration of the saxophone and to pay homage to all the great sax players of the past whose music continues to inspire and make people feel good . . . " - nice track very funky, Booker T. Jones on organ.
