It' s what sort of mic do I need or would I be better of with a digi recorder

Hello Geoff, so really any Mic will do? or is it better to have a condenser, dynamic ??
I'm really lost here.....

Yeah have seen the posts about the Zoom 2h and 4H

but as you can see from my earlier post I'm a twit  concerning recording and don't want to spend that sort of money at the moment

Thanks for your reply

Hi Smithy - to say any mic will do is perhaps putting words into my mouth, you get what you pay for and all that..

I have a Samson usb mic, about sixty quid, and it gave me poor results (user error perhaps), so bought the zoom, which I can't praise enough, few others are now looking at getting one...
but for a cheap option to get you on the ladder this ebay item is the one I have; 150270758720

cheers
Geoff

Well there is a shock 😱

I was just looking at that on ebay but was not sure about it being Stereo

Thanks Geoff I will go with that for now and order one

Check out Crazydaisydoo He often posts on this site but he very kindly posted two very informative videos on youtube.
I personally use a shure 607 mic into a behringer 602 mixer via the line in then recorded with Cubase.

Hi Taz
Thanks for the links, I have often viewde his youtube vid's but did not know he posted here

I will look up your mic and mixer and Cubase

Thanks again
