Forum Support 🤔 Changes to the ignore function

[Pete Thomas]

As well as the ability to ignore users (but hopefully you don't need to do that much if at all) we have had the ability to ignore specific (sub)forums or threads improved.

This has now been updated to make the ignored content such as forums or threads completely invisible. Gone, disappeared, disparu, AWOL - even if there is a link to it.

Just wondering ... Thread Ignore seem to have disappeared? Didn't there use to be an Ignore button next to Watch?

Pretty sure a thread I ignored previously has reappeared, and I can’t see an ignore button on it.

No real issue we were going through a series of diagnostic testing and some features were temporarily turned off and on again.

I'm just gonna ignore this...

Will thread Ignore come back?

Will thread Ignore come back?

I hope so.

Will thread Ignore come back?

We are still waiting for a fix for this. But meanwhile we have a new feature that may help. You can now filter new posts by thread prefix and save as default.

Will thread Ignore come back?

Yes. It is back (for Cafe supporters) but in a slightly different guise. It has some extra features.

neat!
"Ignore till I've cooled down" - nice.

You also have a special page under account settings for managing your ignored content:

https://cafesaxophone.com/account/ignored-content

And ignore just specific posts (but not moderators!)
