Very true - I have the Grassi tenor I got from you, and I love it.
In fact I have 4 very nice saxophones (SATB), all of which are capable of sounding a lot better than they do when I play them. Which is, as you point out, an excellent reason for not getting any more.
I even have good mouthpieces. (Though in this case one can always get more!)
So my latest GAS purchase was a ligature.

Soon I will be reduced to buying Klangbogen and its friends.
