IMPORTANT
In order to sync the track, you must send a file of just your saxophone (not mixed with the backing track) that starts at exactly on beat one of the two bar intro, so there will be two bars of silence (or a bit less if you play a pick up).
No reverb or other effects please, this is added at the final mix.
Ideally send a 24 bit 44.1 kHz WAV file. If you cannot do this, 16 bit is OK, but please make sure there is a reasonably healthy level of audio signal (but do not normalise it).
How to do that using a Zoom H2/H4?
I am unable to answer that, hopefully someone on the forum will know so ask it there, thanks.
But You can do it with Audacity:
Audacity should be fine for recording (or editing a recording done in Zoom, although if you have Audacity - which is free - it would be simpler to do it all in Audacity)
This way we can resync your saxophone with the backing track for mixing. As mentioned it should have a couple of bars of silence (during the intro) then just the saxophone (with no effects please).
Backing Soundfiles:
TBC
NB The tempo is 90 BPM at 4/4
NB don’t worry your ability, this is not a cutting contest. As I said fast or technical shredding will not sound good on this track. If in doubt, keep it simple!
