As someone living in Los Angeles I can say good luck with finding a sax teacher. Although I can say looking on the Café is a great source.

You may want to try a site called Superprof. It is where I found my teacher who is exceptional but lives way over in Essex. They take a very small fee but once you have found the person you like the arrangement is between you and your teacher. Worked well for me.
