Progressions

What are some common Jazz progressions?
I am familiar with

|: iim7 | V7 | Imaj7 | Imaj7 :|

I'm sorry, but I've played blues all my life and thats the only one I know.

Also, are there names for these progressions that I can look up? e.g. 12 bar and 8 bar blues etc...

By the way: whats a good bridge progression for the above progression ?

I maj7 | VI7+ b9 | iim7 | V7+ b9

is a nice prog but the augmented 7th chords with a b9 are a bit trickier than some.

A zillion variations on the 12-bar blues changes... here's one

Bird Blues changes - (named after Charlie 'Bird' Parker)

D | C#m7b5 F#7 | Bm7 E7 | Am7 D7 |
G7 | Gm7 C7 | F#m7 | Fm7 Bb7 |
Em7 | A7 | D7 | Em7 A7 ||

then theres Giant Steps changes, I Got Rhythm changes...
