has everyone seen this new development in baritone sax design?

apparently a dirty great dent in your body work is not the result of smacking your horn against your chair, but actually a clever piece of ergonomics to mould it round your leg

i suggest you all go and have the adjustment done to your horns

Thats great...what a top seller!
He can also play all the notes he knows of on a baritone!
Pretty good if he's only a tenor player.
Theres something just not right about all this.

i can't belive its a design feature..there is no point what so ever..

it is a design feature and as a tech I can modify your baritone like that for 900 pounds - It costs that much because the big hammer i use is very heavy and it takes real skill to get it to the exact shape of your leg , you can do a DIY job by dropping the bari gently against a sofa :whistle:

Thanks Pete, I think I'll go for the leg-shaped design on the horn, or get Griff to do the mod as it's a bit cheaper. From the photo, and the single concavity on the horn, it looks to have been skilfully modified with just one bash from the extra-large hammer. Perhaps Griff can confirm this is the case.
