Obviously we're all familiar with Yamaha, but Suzuki?

Maybe we can now expect something similar from Harley Davidson -that'll be hugely heavy and ponderous, from BMW, something beautifully built but pug-ugly, Triumph, rasping sound but a bit leaky, and Kawasaki, green.....?

If it's anything like my Suzuki VStrom (motorbike for the non-bikers), it'll be an ugly heavy b*stard but a superb, reliable and exhilarating bit of machinery.

Just imagine if Ducati built saxes - frighteningly expensive, full of untried new technology, brilliant performer (when not in the workshop) and, errrr.......red

I saw that Suzie earlier today (nice case indeed), it did make me wonder.... also my local Cash Converters has three in stock, a 'Windsor', a 'Stagg' and an 'Arbiter', none of which I know anything about, so that makes 4 this week 😉

Predictably, these are made in China. Whether that makes them good bad or indifferent is up for debate but one would hope that a company like Suzuki wouldn't put their name/reputation on the line by putting their name on a piece of junk. Their pianos are very good as was the GS850 shafty 🙂
