Long shot i know but wondering if anyone has any old, no longer needed Fibracell reed cases (the clear ones they come in) looking for 3 of them as they're ideal for keeping Legere reeds in. Failing that has anyone got any vandoren reed holders (again the ones they come in)

Ive put £0 in price of item as no idea but happy to negotiate price + postage. Will donate 10% or £5 whichever is higher.

I have one of those that I used for cane reeds, but learnt the hard way why they say don't store them in a way that puts pressure on the tips

I've used one for years. Never a problem as long as you don't force the reeds in.

the cases (with the exception of the bar are the same size ( i just checked) Ive got three you can have if you donate a couple of quid to the forum I'll post them for free. PM your address.

Probably me as I can be heavy handed at times, though having ruined 3 put of 4 alto legere signatures not sure I want to risk using it again.

Yes, two so far. I now have the costly Theo Wanne case, it cannot trap the ends, or the Vandoren holders are indeed ok.

I've cut the ends off several baritone reeds with a Rico case too. So I use a Vandoren box for bari and tenor reeds. Rico cases are OK for soprano and alto because the reeds aren't long enough to get damaged.
