Mouthpieces Bite plate

In the past I have heard of people getting dental technicians to do this kind of work. Also- 'straight across' bite plates (the sort Berg Larsens have) - Rupert Noble can replace those using broken bits of ebonite mouthpiece shaped to size

Does anyone know a mouthpiece repairer in the uk aside from Ed..I need a biteplate put on a labayle piece..

Have you considered filling it in with epoxy? Some folks have been successful at a complete replacement by making a dam on either side with tape, then filling the space with dental-grade epoxy. If you only need to fill a groove, epoxy works for that too. In either case, I'd use a tooth patch to avoid further wear/damage.
