Tremendous Bore
I received a pm from Kev and I haven't replied. Well who does worry about replying to Kev? How ever he did complain about over work at work, too much expected from the family, Christmas coming and a grave injustice that we members can attempt to right.

Kev is on duty as this board's Moderator twenty-four seven. That equates to 168 hours per week. The living wage has been recently declared at £8-19 per hour and if we multiply those together, excuse me whilst I take my slippers off, six toes times four fingers and three thumbs is....................£1,375-92p per week that that nice Mr Thomas owes Kev.

As an illustration of the CaSLM's Fair Play to Kev scheme, we are willing to invest this weekly sum in our Number One Hedge Fund without taken our normal Operational Costs.

Post here to right this embarassing situation as certain states are questioning the caff©'s Human Rights legislation.

I assumed the whole sum owed by the nice Mr. Thomas to Mr. Germany is already frozen in Iceland. At least these are the rumours in the frozen food isle, in my local Tesco.

I for one (and I know many more of us) find this forum of inestimable value and owe a debt of gratitude to That Nice Mr Kev for shouldering the responsibility of keeping this wonderfully diverse and eclectic bunch of saxers in order, and preserving the warm, convivial, civil, supportive, informed and informative feel of this Cafe.

To quote someone >:): "Apologies for being serious..."

Yes, but that's the living wage. Surely, if any of us had a life we wouldn't be spending so much of our time on internet fora.

Really, though, thanks to Kev (and Pete) for keepng this such a nice place to be.

I don't know.. If Kev was really doing his job I would be experiencing maximum enjoyment. I won't do that till I am posting from a nice house, not this poorly insulated apartment. Once he fixes this, then we can talk about a wage for the man.;}

In all seriousness. Love the forum, thanks Kev. I would not be where I am in playing if it was not for this great forum that you keep running.

Hi all , as everyone knows I am a roving reporter without portfolio for the National Enquirer and Old Git`s rather moving thread set me to think of a way in which to thank the boys in the backroom(forum) for their sterling work.

So I wrote an appraising piece which would have been sent to print for the special Christmas edition.

Sadly my piece did not get past the tick the box questionnaire, for the following reasons

Neither of the gentleman in your article have strange sounding names. One or both do not have a sufficiently sensational background to be put to press.

Example of what is needed Lucas Strangewater (Chicago Butcher) who in 1956 won the American Tennis Open, playing with a Re-conditioned Conn Alto Saxophone and a missing index finger, lost while paring a beef shin bone. And so the list went on.

I tried gentleman, even went as far as trying to bribe the deputy editor with a jellied calf's head with M&Ms stuffing. (Strange appetites some people have.)

So it is left to me to shower them with praise. (Saccharine sweet Navarro in action.)

On the first day of Christmas Kev did moderate and send to me
And Pete tweeted `A Partridge in a pear tree.`

On the second day of Christmas Kev did moderate and send to me
And Pete tweeted `Two Turtle Doves and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.

After that Kev ran out of moderation's And Pete out of Tweets. (Really enjoyed The Mock Turtle Dove Soup made in error by my lady of the kitchen.)

Best regards Kev for being a very moderate Moderator and Pete for a great Cafe.

Regards Navarro.
