Teacher Wanted Teacher in Cornwall?

Hi everyone. I was at a gig last week and met a chap who is looking for a sax teacher, mainly for his son (who is 10 yrs old and a beginner). They live down in St Austell in Cornwall and have had no luck at all in finding anyone although they've asked a couple of sax players (who weren't keen to give lessons). Does anyone know of anybody down there?

My music teacher lives in St Cleer which is just North of Liskeard. Probably a bit far though.

Best option is to Google "musicteachers.co.uk" and use search function - saxophone/Cornwall will reveal approx 8 teachers.

Other alternative is on sax.co.uk which has a list of UK teachers on LHS - may be worth a look. Many teachers give an introductory lesson free of charge and are happy to answer questions before meeting - what music you want to play etc.

Excellent gig, we have been asked back to do New Years Eve; we were also in yesterdays Western Morning News although not connected with the gig, just thought I'd name drop.

Strangely, your spelling is apt as I am going to Sterts to see a band on the 19th September. They are a German medieval rock band; sounds strange, I hope it is. For those that don't know, Sterts is a canvas covered, but largely fresh air, venue in Upton Cross, Cornwall. Regular visitors know to take a warm coat and something soft to sit on!
