You ok @Pete Thomas??If I could play at the moment I'd be interested, maybe in a couple of weeks.
That all depends. People who don't know that other brilliant refacer would assume more value if the original maker did the work. Its just form for outward pricessing relief..only postage to pay..so question is does it retain more value if the original maker refaces would it take away from the originallity if another ( no matter how brilliant) refacer does the work...discuss...;-)
It wasn’t really clear, you just mentioned it in passing. If can we assume that you’re offering it on a trial before buying then you might get some interest. Just spell it with your terms and conditions and see if it flies then.I did offer..no takers..trial for the price of postage
True that hes not going to charge much s its his puece, no VAT or import duty just the postage...and cost of work and time..or pop it to stamore 30 mins drive...hmmThat all depends. People who don't know that other brilliant refacer would assume more value if the original maker did the work.
But I would certainly prefer something knowing it had been Pillingered.
NB: you need to do the paperwork for inward processing (unless it is a combined inward/outward which may be the case).
I would not bother as it all adds up: VAT, import duty, postage, handling fee for a mouthpiece that may or may not be easy to sell at the price you want.
Do you mean in the yard sale..or here..view to buy or just to try my moto..lolIt wasn’t really clear, you just mentioned it in passing. Yes, [postage you will pay to the seller/repairer. You won't know about VAT or import duty until it arrives back at customs. And note they add the VAT to the values PLUS the cost of shipping. Not fair I know.no VAT or import duty just the postage
I spoke to them no Vat or import complete an outward processing form..if it is charged it takes 3 weeks to claim back..You won't know about VAT or import until it arrives back at customs. And note they add the VAT to the values PLUS the cost of shipping. Not fair I know.
No one but he lives away or it would have been my first lort of call..other thin is he plays platicovers and that plays om on the piece its everything else...I hope after 6 years id know if a piece wasn't right..but..Ive only been sying once in 6 years not to bad but i have closed the e bay account..Haven’t you got friends who are pro players, this would have been my first choice to see how it plays at the hands of a more experienced player.
You really need to stop buying blindly because these are huge sums of money.
Go to a music shop and try everything they got, you have got a number within your area, doing this will take some of the risk out of buying.
But have you seen what’s involved with the form?I spoke to them no Vat or import complete an outward processing form..if it is charged it takes 3 weeks to claim back..
No was told royal mail as the couriers fill it in...big is it..course it is...But have you seen what’s involved with the form?
Ahh but how many variations are there...you havevto kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince..
Also you need to know the difference between a frog and a toad. And a prince. You’ll start enjoying it more once you find the right end to kiss.
Prince of all mouthpieces.I'll swap you for a Yamaha 4c
And how much would i have to pay on top ;-)I'll swap you for a Yamaha 4c
Think this at the mo too..or a frog..Also you need to know the difference between a frog and a toad. And a prince.
BTW I would be interested to try this, I did have a Morgan Fry Floridated Link. Didn’t like it much though. So maybe that was a toad.
