Anyone interested in this? It will be an 8*

I may also be able to include a SYOS that could be fun for comparison. Maybe ask we can get a daddario to include also.

Due to customs we will need to do it territorially, start with UK then either US or EU but there will be VAT issues on initial import to the EU.

We will start with Cafe supporters getting a priority, then other members who are actively posting.

Any chance of it making its way to the other end of the earth (New Zealand & Australia)? We don't have import duties on any thing under $1,000 in NZ.

I would be interested in a PPT pass-around, but only if it was a smaller tip opening than 8*.
There is only the 7* which is not a whole lot smaller. And the 8* is so much easier blowing (more responsive) than other mouthpieces. It’s worth trying unless you you mean something way smaller tip of long facing in which case a PPT design baffle won’t be very very nice anyway.

One problem I have is people buy the 7* because that’s what they use on a Link, then realise they’d have been better off with a PPT 8* or 9* anyway.

I'm in. I had a 7* that was awesome. I live in Athens Greece. I really hope I could get included :)
I play a Conn 10M lately .... I'd love to see how it matches with the PPT :)

Classic horns Conn 10m and Martin Comm III both awesome matches. I could get into marketing hype, yet I will exercise a modicum of self control

Good references and I do have a Com III, but usually play a R&C two voices. I know you had one of these yourself. Did you play the PPT with your two voices? If yes how did it go? My usual mouthpiece for the two voices is a Morgan Excalibur 9EL which is fairly versatile. The PPT 8* is probably a larger tip as Morgans aren't similar sizes to others.

I wouldn't mind having an excuse to play the Martin again as I've always loved its tone. Go ahead and boast...you're allowed!

Yes all the time.

I tend to take tip sizes with a pinch of salt as I finds it meaningless to compare across different mouthpieces anyway. Tip sizes are overrated IMO.

I'm in too! When it reaches continental Europe.

I already have a couple of PPT 7*, onyxite and gold plated, that I love. So I'm curious to compare with this one.

I'd like to give it a try. Based in Southampton. Re including a syos - I have one in the drawer (Scott paddock model, 8 tip) that I'd be willing to include in the passaround if that's any help?

I've been playing a 9* pretty much exclusively for a number of years. I also have a 10* that's a bit darker.
I'm not sure of the value of trying an 8* but if a Syos is included I would be interested. I've not tried any of their offerings.
