Kanee Mouthpiece Pass - Around
I am offering the following Hard Rubber Kanee Mouthpieces (together) to currently active Café saxophone members to try and to pass on. ( I am the distributor for the U.K and Europe so the Pass-Around will have to be limited to these Countries).
The Pass - Around will start in the U.K

Please let me know if you would like to try them.

Alto Mouthpieces
New York- Hand crafted - Large Chamber 6
CNC edition – New York - Medium Chamber 8

Kanee New York mouthpieces are very similar to the Meyer Bros NY
CNC edition – Studio 8
(Studio Mouthpieces have a large Chamber and a high baffle, I find them bright with a bit of a buzz).
The RRP of the Alto Mouthpieces is £79.50 including postage.

Tenor Mouthpieces (Handcrafted)
Studio - 7

( the Studio has a high baffle and large chamber, I find it bright with a bit of a buzz)
Florida – Medium Chamber 6 *
Florida – Large Chamber 8*

Kanee Florida Mouthpieces are very similar to an Otto Link Florida.
The RRP of the Tenor Mouthpieces is £88.50 including postage.

Kanee have been making Mouthpieces since 2004 and have received great reviews from a number of pro- players including Steve Neff, Randy Hunter and Jan Kopinski. Kanee is owned by Yu Mao, who is a Saxophone lecturer at a music college in China. For further info go to: www. kaneemusic.com

Pass around rules:
Patches must be used, no Ligature marks, and cleaned using cold water and a mild detergent.
If you notice any damage to a Mouthpiece please let me know.
Please pass the Mouthpieces on after a maximum of 7 days (sooner would be better). And please let me know when you receive them and when you have posted them on.
The Postage cost is £8.55, Special delivery Guaranteed by 1pm next day (Mon – Fri) £500 insurance cover.
The initial cost of postage to Europe will be around £12.50 (I will cover the difference). I don’t know the postage costs once they get there, the insurance cover will need to up to £500
At the end of the Pass – Around, the MPCs will be donated to the Café and sold in the Yard sale , so please look after them.

Please post your reviews in the threads below

It would be helpful for Keep Blowing if members could state the country they live in so he can organise the list appropriately :)

Yes please (although I’m happy with my Pillinger) no harm in trying

I'm interested in the Alto Studio 8, I've got an older Kanee Z6 which is kind of similar to a Theo Wanne Durga, so I'd be curious to compare the two.... I'd happily test any of the other alto mouthpieces as well - I'm in the UK if that helps the logistics

I would like to try them, I live in Canada however I am going to be in Weston Super Mare from 4th Feb until 6th March and if the rota can be worked to allow me to try the alto ones I would be grateful.
