I'm trying to track down a music book without much success, the book is by Philip Sparke and called: Super Studies 26 Technical Studies For Saxophone.

I've sent out a few emails so hopefully someone will come back to me but I just thought I'd inquire here in case anyone knows where I might be able to get a copy.

Also, if anyone knows of a similar book for improving flexibility speed and so on, I'd be interested to hear about it.

Best wishes,

Chris

Hi Kev,

Alas I don't think it is, I'm after the Technical Studies, that one seems to be Progressive Studies. Maybe the book I’m after is no longer available or I wonder if it might have been incorporated into the Progressive studies series as that seems to consist of three volumes.

Thanks for looking for me.

Best wishes,

Chris

Hi Geoff,

Unfortunately it's the Progressive Studies series and I'm after the Technical Studies, but thanks for looking for me. With the titles being so similar I've nearly twice added to basket only to realise it's the wrong one. I've found out that it's published by De Haske so I'll try getting in contact with them to see if it's still in print.

All the best,

Chris

wooops..that'll teach me not to look harder after the watering hole... odd there is no trace of technical studies out there... still plenty of others to choose from... just ordered a few fom book dep - nice source - cheers!

Hi Geoff and Kev,

Well this is rather embarrassing, you guys were right…

… I’ve been hunting for the “Super Studies – 26 Technical Studies for Saxophone” I’d made a note of the title and along with it I had jotted down the publishing code: AMP 113. According to the De Haske website “AMP 113-401” is the code for “Super Studies - 26 Progressive Studies for Saxophone” so it looks like I got the title wrong or the title has changed. Either way I know what I’m getting now, thanks again for your help.

All the best,

Chris
