I doubt you would say that if you saw the games. Everyone agrees that 8th place, european football and a cup final looks like happy days for a club with the financial clout of Southampton. But in reality we were relegated from the prem on 42 points and this season we got 46. Also in the bottom 5 for goals scored & wins at home.
The football was boring, the fan base is as divided as I have ever seen it, players are not performing for him to the level we have seen from them.
There is no way in hell Liverpool or Everton fans would put up with this but you are both welcome to another SFC cast off . The tea lady is in talks with both merseyside clubs I heard.
