Your experience should be a good addition to this place. Welcome. Lots of jazzers here, but not many that play other styles. You could be a great help to some that recognize that there's a lot more call for those other styles if you wish to play for a (paying) audience.

It looks like you're a better musician than a forum poster... Titles should be short, then text after that provides details, not the other way around.
It's like a very short solo after an extensive theme exposure!
Sorry mate, I'm an appalling musician, but I've been using forums for 25 years... Back then you had to learn Netiquette. Kind of like solfege for internet nerds in the 90s.
It's always a great pleasure to have experienced musicians here. Even if I don't understand half of what they say!
