No, of course not :)
My point was that they FEEL completely different, but the colour added by the player or MPC is much more noticeable.
I often wonder when listening to youtube samples how euphoric people get, when all I think is I'd never want to sound like that.

One thing that I don't like about it (at least with the "M" Mintzer neck is, that like so many horns from Taiwan or China it wants to make your life as easy as possible, meaning, there is so little resistance that you almost "fall into" the sound.
My Yani speaks perfectly, but there is always some work (more than with the Eastman) necessary. And I always feel "where" the note is and how I can manipulate it soundwise.
I got used to that, and I'm asking myself if I'd miss it.
On the other hand - it could make it possible to change reeds (maybe not strengh, but brand) and offer new possibilities....
