Over many years I have sometimes been self motivated, but at other times I have been grateful for external motivation in various forms and guises, whether it's an exam, a job interview or just being on a gig that feels like you've been thrown in at the deep end. I'd love to be self motivated enough to improve without any of that kind of stuff but unfortunately I'm not (maybe one day)</p></blockquote><p></p>
