When I bought this it had been overhauled and nicely re-padded but had not been very well set up. I have had it set up properly today (which wasn't cheap!), and now it's a really nice instrument to play. The nickel silver plate is wearing a bit thin in the usual places, but it scrubs up well and sounds lovely. There's a case with it too.

I think the one I'm selling is probably just a posher version of yours. Mine is 1950/60s I think?
I reckon that you should buy it as a spare

Nope, it’s definitely an Amati, signed sealed and stamped mate in Czechoslovakia with the Amati brand stamped on the bell
