SotM April 2024 - The Fool On The Hill

So, April 1st is April Fools day..... and I thought about calling Ascension or 26-2 by John Coltrane....

Instead, here's the Fool On The Hill by the Beatles, from their '67 EP The Magical Mystery Tour.

This song resonates especially for me this month, not just for the fool reference, but the references to the earth being round rather stuck out.... I had a bizarre conversation with a flat earther a coupler of weeks ago; someone who other wise seemed perfectly rational. Anyway.

A nice backing in concert C attached, along with lead sheets to match; the original is in D, so I'll be trying to find a good backing in that key, and also for the amazing version by Sergio Mendes; so watch this space.

@mrblackbat, the Soundcloud complaint was that the backing track is copyrighted by "The Backing Tracks", they asked me to comment or dispute it but I have no idea where you got it.

Thanks, I was just surprised but it's no big deal. Sounds like Soundcloud is a bit more stringent in that respect than Youtube. But as long as I can put it on Dropbox LOL ...
