YTS-61S tenor saxophone, beast turned beauty.

I will have to do a 61 next to 62 cos yes this sounds thick but the 62 is thicker and bigger sounding in all departments, the 61 is brighter than the 62 tho. Both saxes i like a lot for different reasons.
I am actually going to use the 61 later today on a big band gig, i am wanting to try it in a gig situation before i can truely judge it but i am quietly confident it will be great.

The 61s just passed it's test on a gig today with flying colours, it blew a storm, and i really liked it, a great back up tenor for me and probably a keeper and easily more than good enough to be someones primary tenor as oppose to my back up so i still could be swayed to sell it as i am not emotionally attached like with my 62 and if that was the case i would be a gent and yard sale it here and donate.

It's a beautiful sax Ian, wish I had the money to buy it from you! 😉
Since fixing it up by the weekend after only a few days playing on it i think it is now playing even better than it was in this demo.
I might just keep on to it add it to my ever growing collection, GAS is good 😉

but you never know....
