Saxophones YTS-61 Age?

I have a Yamaha YTS-61 that has a serial number in the 3xxx range. Any idea how old it is?

There are other threads that all say the same thing. You need to ask Yamaha. Unless something's changed, there isn't a published list allowing you to check for yourself. If you're lucky someone may know the years they were made, which is a good starting point.
