There was a query in another post for what can be uploaded as far as other content ie. Mixing something you did and combining it with other works. I found that if it is for artistic reasons and not a money making enterprise, usually it will not be deleted. Possibly it will be considered by the copywrite owner as extra exposure for their product.
This is content from the film, 4 Weddings and a Funeral, the poem by WH. Auden narrated by the actor John Hannah, with my added original music and footage as a Dedication to my Teacher. Which has been uploaded in the past to you tube, for a considerable period, with no problems
It is normally difficult to find footage that you can add your own music, because normally the film composer, would have written some underscore to some scene that you think would benefit music, but if there is no dialogue involved then no problem.

PS. Probably a good idea to include the source in the titles.

Thanks Guys. Youtube spoiled the video a bit with cropping, but no matter as long as you enjoyed it.🙂

Gorgeous film and music. It took me a couple of minutes to realise it was John Hannah speaking - thought it was you.

Thanks Sue but I'll leave it to John, he does a great job. 🙂 And although they say Scots are too tight to even give away their accent, I have been accused of being from Northern Europe before, ( a foreigner ) but the discerning can usually pick it.😉

Completely agree with Sue. Can you tell us something about the production and recording of the Music Jim. Where / How all the geeky muso stuff .Some of us like that sort of thing.
Oh why don`t you give Adieu Farewell the same treatment. I seriously think if it were out in the Public Domain something could happen for it.

Not much to tell Clivey. Rec around 2010/11 with sonar plugins and Clarinet. At the time of my old Teachers Passing, who was living in France. Adieu Farewell was recorded about 97 when i was doing a masters at Kingston Uni. ie. Composing for Film and TV. I was still using sound modules/samplers at that time.
I must start recording some of the Songs i have written over the last 30 odd years.the thing is with songs it helps if you can sing. When i was younger and would start singing, friends used to say stick to the Clarinet. LOL.
