For sale: Yamaha YTS61 Tenor Saxophone. Early "purple logo" model in fantastic overall condition. Slight lacquer loss to area of strap ring otherwise 95% remaining. No dents or dinks or previous repairs apparent. Superb player albeit on older pads. Hard to find in this kind of condition. Considered by many players to be the best sax that Yamaha ever made. Very retro and cool with the hot rod style all in one key guard. Comes complete and ready to play with its original hard case, mouthpiece, ligature, cap and neck strap. Lack of use of this particular horn forces very reluctant sale £1250 or near offer. Welcome to try in South Devon area.

Mikey hasn't asked me to post on this thread but I felt I need to.

This 61 is a fantastic horn - I did some work on it a couple of years back and it blows like a dream. Lovely velvety tone and a screamer when pushed. This is one nice horn and if I was in the market for another tenor I'd grab it with both hands. In great nick for its age too.

Sounds like a nice horn - if it wasn't so far away I would buy it myself...
