That's it..I've hit 65.. not a 'big person' so can't hack the size/weight of a low A anymore. Excellent condition bar some buckle rash in the strap ring area and a few light laquer scratches. No laq. wear bald areas at all. Strap ring is a heavy duty 3 ring fitted by Griff. Would consider part ex. for a 10m/Beucher tenor with cash adjustment but has to be top condition (see my wanted ad)..otherwise I'm looking £2450 'ish',,comes with a standard Yam 5C M/p

Would you be interested in a part ex on a low Bb Kholert Super Pennsylvania? It will need a bit of Griff time (low B and Bb springs are a bit feeble) but otherwise in good nick. Trade in price would reflect the need for fettling.

Thanks but no, as per my original post I'm packing in the big stuff. These days I'm more interested in Brass/wind synthesis/bass guitar. Saxwise I've got one of the modern CMelodies(in silver plate) from Thomman, it will cover my bases..never liked altos and I'm even startng to to find the tenor cumbersome.."old age comes at a bad time"...got Ed Pillinger to make a new mouthpeice and it's a 'Demon' It's well made, modern keywork(couple of small niggles, but hey show me a perfect key placment) and I don't see the problem that people have with intonation(perhaps they need to practice more..??) As aplug for Thomman it came superbly set up and regarding the micro tuner neck..grease on the threads and worked up/down a dozen or so times..moves like silk..
