The Yamaha VL70-m synth is "Virtual Acoustic" device, which is to say rather than sampling a sound, it emulates the physics of an "instrument" - I put that in quotes because it can apparently do blown strings and bowed tubes, which are Quite Hard in Real Life. Best controlled using a wind controller such as the WX11 also on offer, or a WX5 which gives a bit more control.
The Patchman Turbo VL upgrade is best described by the supplier here.
VL70-m comes with manual, UK power supply and the original factory EPROM, if you want to see what those sounds were like, though this does involve opening the case and changing the chip over.
WX11 comes with the long cable that connects directly to the VL70-m, plus its manual. I do have the battery pack for it, which gives you a normal MIDI connector, if you want it. No pix of this, but if you're desperate I can take some at some point.
Everything is in good order, never gigged, non-smoking home (the times I've fallen foul of that last one - yuck...).
VL70-m kit : £550 SOLD
WX11 : £150
Shipping/insurance extra, CLOSE offers considered, you're welcome to come and try it out by arrangement.
Oh, and my spare tenor IS still available!
Cheers
Jonathan
