A long shot I know but I love my new Brancher Ebony L31 and would love a backup and could live with either a Ebony or Ebonite.

Thanks all,

Will donate appropriately if I can find one here.

No brancher here,......but, did you buy it from Howarth's sale? I wanted to buy one there, but it was gone already! A quick question, how is it compared the your LeBayle mpc?
Regards, Paul.

Paul,

Yep, grabbed it in the Howarth's sale... It's much darker than the Lebayle and I find it easier to play and shape my sound (but I'm NOT a good player...) The Lebayle is brighter without being overbright at all in fact the Lebayle probably smoother. It's an older Lebayle with only number 7 makring on it and not a lot else, but a lovely made piece. Interested? 🙂

Well, more in the Brancher!!!
Have a Lebayle Ebony for my alto and am waiting on a soprano Lebayle ebony from Howarth's 2nd hand sale.
If you offered it to me for the same price as you bought your Brancher for>:):w00t:;}......... but I already have 7 opening tenor piece and that was what interested me in the Brancher!!
When you get bored with the Brancher.......!!!
Thanks for letting me know the difference in sound.
Enjoy your mpcs!!!
Paul.

Paul,

You might see the Lebayle in the Yard Sale as I'm lovin' the Brancher. Just swapped my FL ML with a guy in the US for a Brancher B29 which will be the complete opposite end of the sound spectrum but if the build quality is like the L31 I have a feeling it will make a great alternative...

Take care.
