Wow, wasn't expecting this.

Our duo has been invited to play on stage at a Xmas light switch on night on 24th November at a well known designer outlet centre near Mansfield, one of their other centres recently had theirs and due to management contacts had Shane Ward, Alexander Burke and The Risk in attendance :shocked:

We have been asked to perform xmas songs (and we will do a couple of other tunes too) for 2 x 25 minute slots in between Santa arriving and we have a choir of children joining us for a song too. Iv'e also been told I have to wear one of those silly santa hats.

Really looking forward to it, but seems really strange practising Rocking around the xmas tree etc. at the start of November, and Auld lang syne as we have been booked to perform at a private function on New Years eve too.:shocked:

If it's any consolation, I've been practicing Christmas Carols and Songs for weeks, our quartet is playing on 3rd and 9th Dec at 2 local Christmas fairs.
I'm sure the neighbours are sick of me already :ashamed

Thanks. Yes it is Mcarthur glen.
Unfortunately I don't personally have any sound clips as we didn't video it, but people around were filming so if I come across any by chance, I will post them.
