Did my first gig with a new band on Friday night, and among the usual standards they dropped in Hazel O'Connors "Will You" with the lovely Wes Magoogan solo. Which, it must be said, sounds best on alto but I play tenor by preference and didn't fancy picking up a cold alto sax to play the big feature number. So here it is on tenor. Sorry that the emotional climax is ruined by a tw*t grinning stupidly at the camera, but that's singers for you, it's all about them.......(sigh)

Very nice, Bill. Singers, yeah ... I'll leave it at that. Looks like the folks on the floor liked what you were playing.

Yes, superb. It's a shame the recording quality isn't a bit better, but beautifully played.

I think the singer might have been looking at the camera out of admiration for your playing. He should have been, anyway.
