Interesting but a rather flawed and too unspecific a set of questions. I found myself saying "it depends on what do you mean by...?"

It seems I have am in the same position as Mr Mandela.

NB: it goes without saying that discussion here should not break the no politics rule.

Very entertaining, and great timing as I've just been doing some Jungian personality style analysis. Seems I'm not the nasty sod I thought I was - seem to be somewhere between Nelson Mandela and Gandhi!

Interesting, though I also kept thinking "it depends on what you mean by...". What does it say about our replies up to now that I also ended up very close to Mandela/Gandhi?

Maybe it's rigged so everyone gets that. It makes the liberal/lefties smug and annoys the fascists. Mind you I was definitely further North than Mandela, slightly on the way to Stalin.

Hmmm...

I had to question whether they know what they're talking about when I saw this in my analysis:

"Socialists like Mahatma Gandhi and Robert Mugabe would occupy a less extreme leftist position."

But I won't comment on Mugabe, except question using him as an example of socialism in the same breath as Gandhi. Otheriwse I'll be breaking Mr Thomas' rules.

I came out very close to centre, slightly left and slighty authoritarian.

Correction - the above was an interpretaion of their diagram
-4.62 left and -3.23 liberal.

Yeh, likewise. If you ask mrs hd she'd say I was near fascist/dictator. The kids think I'm also a homophobe/racist :blush: :ashamed ;}

Hi Dudes!

Here is the voting of the Welsh Jury

Economic L/R: - 4.50
Social L/A: - 4.92

Dalai Lama/Nelson Mandela country for me as well.
Far too simplistic to give mature answers to, but there you go

Kind regards
Tom:cool:

Macarthy was an aberration. "Real" Americans want you to be able to have freedom of thought and belief (with some minor exceptions) i. e. you have the right to swing your arms, but that right ends at my nose!

I did this about 5 years ago.

Score today was:

Economic Left/Right: -8.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.05

As I recall, not much change then.

Having been around for quite a while I don't even need to look at it to know how it works.
You know you are being asked questions for an outcome, and answer with that in mind.

Also, there is a great propensity to read the results like those who read horoscopes, ie. identify with want you want to etc.
