Accessories What IS this contraption?

This came with a sax I bought some time ago...

Two shoulder pads, a large loop at the bottom, adjustable sax clip in the middle, and a separate adjustable loop (belt?). I can't work out how to wear it! Maybe it has nothing to do with sax and something to do with s**?

Any ideas?

Obviously 16th Century Sado-Macho isn' it?
The long loop over your head and round the waist, then the loop with the two shoulder pads over your shoulders and round your neck and last but not least the adjustable belt around the mid-riff which should clip in to the rest down the back to take the load off the neck. Then jump off the bridge!
Nice laminate - I just finished doing the spare room with a dark grey old wood pattern - now looks like the scuppers on a pirate ship. Just need a big cast iron ring on the wall and one of those saxy harnesses and it's "yo ho ho me hearties"
No seriously it looks like one of those weird orthopedic harnesses that some sax players have to use when they have back problems. 😵

Solid oak 22mm thick T&G 4 sides, random lengths, OSMO wax over, laid and waxed by these very hands some ten years ago. Looks and wears superb!

Well - shiver me timbers - Oar fully sorry old chap - what a Faux pas - if I may grovel and grovel with the smelly stinking swines in their hovel me Lord. Don't get much of that T&G Hearts of Oak stuff 'mongst us poor lowly peasants over here on t'th Continent these days. 🙁

The upper strap looks like those that are used as a shoulder strap to carry soft cases. The lower one makes no sense whatever. It could possibly be parts of 2 or 3 neckstraps combined just to give people on saxophone forums something to talk about. 🙂
