Hi All!

My 11 year old son has been taking sax lessons for a year on a loan instrument. I have the option of buying a second hand Weril A932 alto sax for about 420 british pounds. I cannot find any info on this brand of instrument. Does someone know if it is any good? It is in excellent condition.

Thanks!

anthony

Hi, I'll do some checking, but I think it's an Austrian brand, sourced from the far east. No idea on quality.

Weril are a very old Brazilian company - better known for its range of Gagliardi trombones and certain of its brass instruments - I have a Regium II Cornet and Regium II Flugelhorn which are rated very highly. I have no idea about their woodwind instruments - certainly have not been as widely known.

I found this - refers to the A931: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRfAZenZV1c&feature=related
