Hi There!

I've just noticed the above products - sax stands which are wall mounted and look rather nice, produced by www.locoparasaxo.com and available from several dealers in the UK and elsewhere. I wonder if anyone on the forum has one or tried one and how you found it! They produce stands for both sopranos, alto, tenor & baritone sax as well as clarinet, flute and trumpet. They look fairly solidly made and could free up tabletops and floor space and provide additional security. They are not cheap but look classy and well made.

Kind regards
Tom

Hi Tom,

Pete has done a review of these on here (not sure how to include the link, but you'll find it using the search!)

Cheers,

Amanda

Just click on Saxophone Stuff (above) then click on reviews.

It's a great stand if you have limited space or small children and animals that tend to knock saxophones over if they are on floor stand.

I like those wall stands better than the floor stand, it's like having a piece of art on your wall :)
Now when is my son/daughter going to leave home so i can have a music room !!!! :(

It may be Scouse for "Gay".....................:shocked::w00t:;}

I certainly can't access it via the search engne either.....................

Hmmm Paddy's site does seem to be down!

I have three of his wall mounted stands:
  • Parker Wall Mounted Alto Stand
  • Brecker Wall Mounted Tenor Stand
  • Straight Soprano Stand
I think they are very well made and totally secure! I was worried initially but after a few times my confidence much better! Just make sure you can trust the wall for a secure fixing. However, there are a few ways to get around that if your worried! It does help if you have limited space!

I just tried it and got in OK ...

Yes I have one, here is a pic. It is very sturdy and my wall is only plasterboard.
