Saxophones Vote for the Andy Sheppard Autograph Sax

No thanks. Who could possibly judge one of these instruments against another, other than music dealers who would probably go for the product that sells the most/gives them the biggest rake-off? And, not that I've looked in any detail, but isn't the sax out on its own there in terms of price? Most of the other stuff seems at the budget end of the market?

What an odd selection of instruments. The only one them that I know anything about is the Yanag alto (I wouldn't call that a budget instrument either).

Anyway, why should I vote for the Andy Sheppard sax? I might think it's rubbish. On the basis of no real knowledge at all I'd probably go for the cornett. If I bothered to vote, that is.

I am not sure:
Is it better to have a £70 plastic trombone or a £5K tenor?
And what if I vote for the tenor and then I am obliged to buy it simply because it is in the small print among terms and conditioners?
I have the strange feeling that whoever compiled this list goes clubbing three times a week.

a £70 plastic bone isn`t any use to those who can`t play slide ... how can they oblige you with just an Email address which could have been entered by anyone ... and I`d guess compiled AFTER one of the aforementioned clubbing events

Very strange replys I must say. A British true giant of tenor saxophone works along with a British company to produce a unique line of 100 horns. Well that's enough for my vote. Yes I've tested 1, yes i'm getting 1 and yes its great. That's me happy. Each to there own as ever but hey I have to giggle.

Odyssey Premiere Solid Silver Hear Joint Flute - OFL300SHJ

Hear hear. Where where. Will solid silver work? I thought they had to be hollow with a litle hole to blow over.

I doubt even Solid silver would help an Odyssey product amount to much apart from that Head joint being melted down to make a bullet to stop warewolves ..

Votes such as these are "interesting", aren't they?

Why is a p-bone in the running? Should there at least be a ballot of the competition?

I vote for the Andy Sheppard Signature sax!

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
