For sale - near mint barely used USA made Vito Resotone 3 Clarinet - this is one of the most recommended "student" clarinets, its made of resonate (plastic to you and me like the B12, Yamaha 250 etc) and gets its recommendation because its 1:- noticeably lighter than the B12 and Yamahas and 2:- IMO sounds a damn sight better , it has a more vibrant deeper tone than either of its competitors and is very easy to play ..
I`ve had B12s and Yam 250s (and Bundys) and they sound limp compared to the Vito which has almost that large bore vintage Boosey sound .. the downer is that the keywork, although very good isn`t as slick as that of a German made B12 (which IMO has amazing keywork for a budget clarinet) but it`s decent and better than the other USA horns .. I personally think that the Sound and thumb-friendliness (weigth) of the Vito more than makes up for that , so do many others given the recommendations and would take one over even a german B12 anyday and Both over the Yamaha 26 or 250 (just my opinion) .
Cosmetically as I said, it`s nearly mint and has been barely used (most Vitos I`ve seen have been well used) - the OEM VITO-II mouthpiece, cap and lig are with it (no idea how good, I used it with my Vandoren) as is the Original Vito Cork grease !! .. the original case too which is in good condition .
I`m asking £165 for this - 5% to the forum - Courier extra, shouldn`t be more than £10 to England and Wales . selling because I have too many clarinets and my YTS-61 is off for a service so could do with the cash ..
