I bought a Vandoren Optimum ligarature for my Meyer soprano a couple of months back. Really love the ligature, so much so that I am want to replace ligatures on other saxes: alto, tenor and bari :ashamed
I paid 80 sterling for sop ligature but I can get them in the US for half that and have a relative coming from the USA to visit next month. Vandoren sizing say the ligatures will fit V16 mouthpiece: my worry is that they won't fit 2 x Selmer (alto and tenor) and Otto Link ebonite mouthpieces. Total cost about $200.

Any advice?

Currently playing with
Alto: Selmer Soloist E* with BG ligature
Tenor: Selmer Soloist F* with Selmer ligature -
Bari: Otto Link Ebonite 6, with Otto Link ligature.

I have various Rovner, BG fabric ligatures that no longer work. I feel a clearout coming on soon.

Personally I do not like them, but I guess it would be relatively easy to resell. $200 is about £40 a ligature, and there is a market for optimum.
The soloists should be standard ebonite size. Not sure about the Link. Old ones are HUGE.
Keep the Rovners: it always helps to have some spare ligatures in a drawer.
