Rock & Pop Uncle John's Band / TabsClub

Feeling in a summertime, hippy-ish mood the other day I was listening to some Grateful Dead and I thought it might be fun to do some noodling over "Uncle John's Band". Very pleasing, relaxed rhythms and harmonies.

Anyway in the words of the songs : "whoa oh what I want to know is .... how does the song go?"

So I looked for chords and muddled up a BiaB rendition based on what I found, and that was sounding promising, but I looked some more, and then came across this.

Wow, what a great analysis, and what a great resource (esp for guitarists of course), backing track, tabs, dots and all.

Interesting resource you've found there Andrew.
That will come in useful for the other instrument.

The Grateful Dead don't do it for me, even though I bought American Beauty when I was a boy.
I just loved the cover of the album, but the painful harmonies do my head in.

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
