Traditional Dixieland Jazz gig by The Society for the Preservation Dixieland Jazz. Aka, SPDJ.
Los Angeles area gig held at the Arcadia Elks Lodge. 27 W Huntington Dr, Arcadia Ca.
Fourth Sunday, 1:00-5:00pm.
This November's gig will be combined with December on December 8th. This is also the Christmas party.
Monthly gig is open to all musicians, all levels of playing skill. Trad 101 opens the gig with first set.
Each month the club hosts a featured pro band. 3:00-4:00 set time.
Admission is free to anyone who plays at the gig. No membership required.
Membership is $25 yearly.
Door admission for attendees or dancers.
Member $15
Non-member $20.
Food is available.
Full bar.
Huge wood dance floor.
There is anywhere between 18 and 25 musicians who normally show. Still lots of room. Nobody is left out. All ages & skills welcome.
The regular viewing audience/dancers in attendance is 70 to 100. The hall will accommodate 250 patrons.
