I have owend all them above mps.The Superking was a handmade DG,the king was a Lasertrim.The berkley studio 8* was nice,could not get away with the hr jj mp.The king lasertrimmed was the best of them for me,great projection,altissimo heaven,in ya face but still had great warmth.The superking was thin on top,bad choice for any soft or jazz gigs.very,very bright.

I cant see past my old DG lazer trimmed Studio, feels like home to me when l try anything else. I think im just hungering to try a King since one went on ebay for £150 and l missed out on it. lol

Hi my name is saxlicker and I'm still a mouthpieceholic....(there said it!) :welldone

I have owned both the pieces in this quote in the WWBW variety and The MBII does everything the studio does all bar the last 1% in brightness.
yet it will take you through every note with much more noticeable body and warmth if you want it.
More versatile and other than the plating quality, a great piece.
